Depending on the model, the dock is delivered in 1–4 packages (in plastic bags). More detailed information about the package sizes can be found in the technical specifications of each model.
The Venos dock is also suitable for winter boat storage. However, do not leave the dock in ice, as ice movement can damage the dock. If you are considering storing your boat on the dock over the winter, we recommend getting an extension piece for the dock. A longer dock allows you to pull your boat high enough to safety. Finally, you can easily detach the extension piece from the water and also lift it to safety from the ice.
Generally, the Venos dock does not need to be secured separately. The dock is light enough that it’s easy to move back into place if it shifts. On windy shores, the dock can be secured, for example, with a rope to a tree as a precaution. On slippery rocky shores, securing it may be necessary. In such cases, the dock can, for instance, be bolted to the rock from the end of a few cross pipes.
The dock is always delivered directly to your postal address. So, you can order the dock, for example, directly to your cottage, provided there is a postal address there (i.e., the cottage is located by the road). Docks are not delivered to Posti branches.
